This is the most common issue we see. Most computers brought into our service center have virus problems. Preventative maintenance is the key to a clean computer free of viruses. Always make sure your anti-virus program is active, and up-to-date with the latest virus definitions. Scan your computer regularly for viruses, and NEVER have two anti-virus programs, even if they are not running at the same time. Having two anti-virus programs installed on your computer is as if you have zero anti-virus programs installed. This is a common misconception. There are a couple good and reputable anti-viruses programs you can pick up off the internet for free, like AVG and Avast, which are both very reliable and we recommend, however be careful there are thousands online which say they are an Anti-virus programs but they are NOT, these are actually viruses and can wreak havoc on your computer, so be careful.
